Exhibition & Conference The Future as a Project | Doxiadis in Skopje
Thomas Doxiadis - doxiadis+ participated in the conference organized in tandem with the exhibition The Future as a Project - Doxiadis in Skopje. Both where under the auspecies of the Hellenic Institute of Architecture and where supported by the Rockfeller Institute, the Balkan forum, Swiis Coorporation, National Endownment for Democracy and RYCO.
Both the exhibition and its accompanying events are organised by the Hellenic Institute of Architecture and the Museum of the city of Skopje within the framework of ‘Athens 2018-World Book Capital’ by the City of Athens, with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports. The exhibition material has been contributed by the Museum of Skopje, the personal collection of Jovan Ivanovski, Ana Ivanovska and Vladimir Deskov and the C.A.Doxiadis Archives of the Constantinos and Emma Doxiadis Foundation.
Two days of events opened the exhibition at the Benaki Museum. On the first day (17/12) an international conference took place, followed by the official opening of the exhibition.
