Olympic Look of the City is interesting in that it combines permanent amelioration of public spaces, which remains after the event, with a targeted program of banners, posters, artscapes, and other public realm visual cues. It is as much about branding as space-making.
The temporary installations program was hugely successful in re-branding Athenian public space, was on time, and on budget.
