Thomas Doxiadis, keynote speaker, AUSTRALIAN LANDSCAPE CONFERENCE, 2015

Thomas Doxiadis to present "Symbiosis: Designing for new uses in historic Mediterranean Landscapes" in 2015 Australian Landscape Conference in September in Melbourne. "Our 2015 conference features ten presentations by leading international landscape designers plus two by Australians. Tim Entwisle – leading scientist and Director RBG Melbourne – will launch the conference and our first presentation is by the dynamic Berliner Martin Rein-Cano – one of the most provocative minds in Europe. He is followed by the ebullient Phillip Johnson with his passion for Australian flora; Xavier Perrot takes an opposite stance with his exquisite ‘artworks’ or installations; James Basson shows off his Mediterranean gardens with minimal intervention while Colombian Diana Wiesner addresses civic needs with grand landscape networks across the megalopolis. Thomas Doxiadis works with the timeless landscapes of the Greek isles – where Angels fear to tread." Australian Landscape Conference 2015
