Where does tourism go? Reflecting on the duality of landscape and tourism.

Doxiadis+ is featured in the summer edition of online landscape magazine Planur-e, with an article on the duality of landscape and tourism.

The article contemplates the inextricable and versatile link between landscape and tourism, focusing on the Greek territorial reality. It investigates practices and techniques where this link is enhanced and nurtured, in order to both promote tourism and protect the landscape. Based on a range of studies on successful and failed touristic developments and territories, the article further intends to enhance reflection on a framework of mentality and actions for the implementation of a comprehensive system of landscape protection and management in Greece.
